Abstract: In this seminar, we will talk about how to read and write a research paper. When reading a scientific research paper, the goal is to understand the scientific and or technical contributions of the authors. This is not an easy task.It may require going over the paper several times. Usually reading a paper takes several hours and writing one takes a few weeks. Writing a paper requires a good and sound idea, a well-defined structure and evaluation to support the arguments authors are making.
